Thank you for visiting The Laundress voluntary recall site. This recall includes The Laundress laundry detergent, fabric conditioner and other cleaning products. You can find a complete list of recalled products below. You can also click ‘Get Started’ to begin a reimbursement request. We appreciate your patience, as it may take a moment for our Virtual Assistant to load.
The recalled products can contain bacteria, including Burkholderia cepacia complex, Klebsiella aerogenes and multiple different species of Pseudomonas, many of which are environmental organisms found widely in soil and water, and some may also be found in humans. People with weakened immune systems, external medical devices, and underlying lung conditions who are exposed to the bacteria face a risk of serious infection that may require medical treatment. The bacteria can enter the body if inhaled, or through the eyes or a break in the skin. People with healthy immune systems are usually not affected by the bacteria.
You should immediately stop using the recalled products. To determine if your product is included and submit a request for a full refund, you can click “Get Started” below or look at the lot code printed on the bottom of the bottle. For U.S. and Canada, you will receive a check in up to 8-10 weeks.
